Old Dog, New Tricks.

Doodled Books, an enterprising outfit in the UK have come up with a different approach to selling first editions. They ship copies to the author and have them sign, date, give a quote and… doodle!

Now one of the reasons I became a writer is because I am a terrible artist. Fortunately this is not about good. It’s about something unique, a connection with an author you like. So with SHAKESPEARE’S REBEL, I have drawn on five numbered copies, a beer bottle and a First Folio, and on five more a sword and a quill, copied badly from this one:
