A Theatrical Tale; or, see me in Pantaloons

Here’s a video from the recent launch of ‘Shakespeare’s Rebel’ at Bard on the Beach, Vancouver. I talk about my greatest ever theatrical exit – as Oberon, in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. I’m introduced by the charming Artistic Director of Bard, my old friend Christopher Gaze, and my tale begins at 6:07 minutes on the video.

There’s some terrific other stuff in the video, including some great fights from those great martial artists at Academie Duello. But if you want to see me in a fight – one I am rather proud of, with me using backsword and buckler against a huge Spaniard with rapier and dagger – cut ahead to 46.37 minutes.

Cry God for Harry!
